Basketball Game Preview: Jarrell Cougars vs. Llano Yellowjackets

Jarrell is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Llano a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Jarrell Cougars will host the Llano Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Jarrell will be strutting in after a win while Llano will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Jarrell turned things around against West on Saturday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 66-55. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1102nd, while the Trojans are ranked 463rd).

Meanwhile, Llano came up short against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Saturday and fell 48-41.

Jarrell will have to contain Konrad Zwicke as he made an impact in Llano's last game. He posted 18 points. Zwicke is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Johnson, who had eight points.

Llano's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Jarrell, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
