Basketball Game Preview: Stafford Indians vs. Brooke Point Black Hawks

Stafford and Brooke Point are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Stafford Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Brooke Point Black Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Stafford came up short against Riverbend and fell 49-39. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Bears are ranked 96th).

Meanwhile, Brooke Point was able to grind out a solid win over Colonial Forge on Thursday, taking the game 63-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Hawks.

Stafford's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Brooke Point, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Things could have been worse for Stafford, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 81-67 loss to Brooke Point when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Stafford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
