Immaculate has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 18. They fell just short of the Weston Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Immaculate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Weston are ranked fourth).

Immaculate's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-3. As for Weston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immaculate will face off against rival Stratford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weston is set to take on their familiar foe New Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
