Basketball Recap: Andover Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Andover won the last time they faced Newton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Andover Trojans strolled past the Newton Railroaders with points to spare, taking the game 65-48. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Railroaders are ranked 159th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Kim led the charge by going 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. Kim is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Walker McClellan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.
