Basketball Recap: Valor College Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Glencliff last Friday, Valor College Prep came back down to earth. The Valor College Prep Wildcats fell just short of the Maplewood Panthers by a score of 46-44 on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Valor College Prep's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Maplewood, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Valor College Prep will venture away from home to challenge Lawson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Maplewood has already played their next match (against Stem Preparatory Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
