Volleyball Recap: Chantilly Comes Up Short

If Chantilly was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Langley last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers came up short against the George C. Marshall Statesmen on Monday, falling 3-0.

Chantilly's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for George C. Marshall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Chantilly will venture away from home to face off against Oakton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George C. Marshall, they will head out to square off against Langley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Statesmen are facing the Saxons at the right time seeing as the Saxons are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
