Baseball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palmyra Cougars. The Thundering Herd were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palmyra, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carlisle will challenge rival Red Land at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Palmyra is set to square off against their familiar foe Lower Dauphin at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Palmyra 2, Lower Dauphin 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
