Baseball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gloucester Dukes.

Lafayette saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Kramer, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Quinn Walton was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Gloucester, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Coming up, Lafayette will square off against York at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gloucester, they will take on Tabb at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dukes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
