Football Game Preview: Decatur Golden Gators vs. White River Hornets + How To Watch

The Decatur Golden Gators are taking a road trip to square off against the White River Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Decatur's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They really took it to Kentlake for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-0 victory. The Golden Gators pushed the score to 41-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led White River over Kent-Meridian in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hornets blew the Royals out of the water with a 49-0 final score. The Hornets' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Decatur better keep an eye on Chaz Strickland. He was instrumental in White River's win, throwing for 317 yards and six TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes.
