Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne lost against Winfield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Generals by a score of 2-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Winfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Charleston Catholic on the 6th. As for Winfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Washington on the 6th.
