Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Thunder Ridge waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mountain View Mavericks. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Gabby Grover paced Thunder Ridge's offense, picking up 13 kills. Grover got some help from Melanie Dopp and her 15 assists. Avery Kunz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Thunder Ridge back to even at 12-12. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9-2 record this season.

Thunder Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Timberline on the 27th. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Burley on the 27th.
