Basketball Game Preview: Pelham Pythons vs. Coe-Brown Academy Bears

The Pelham Pythons are taking a road trip to face off against the Coe-Brown Academy Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pelham is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Bow, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Pelham was ranked 21st). Pelham lost 48-24 to Bow on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 71 points in the game before, the Pythons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Coe-Brown Academy entered their tilt with Oyster River on Friday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-47 W against the Bobcats.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Coe-Brown Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Pelham came out on top in a nail-biter against Coe-Brown Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 59-56. Will Pelham repeat their success, or does Coe-Brown Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
