Basketball Recap: Rothsay Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Rothsay came into Saturday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Richland Colts with a sharp 61-37 win on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 354th in Minnesota, while the Colts are ranked 111th in North Dakota).

Rothsay's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Richland, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Rothsay has already played their next matchup, a 62-38 defeat against Hancock on the 14th. Richland has also already played their next contest (against Hankinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
