The North Marion Huskies will take on the Hampshire Trojans at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Marion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

North Marion will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Preston on Tuesday. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Knights. Adalie Besedich had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble North Marion got from the refs.

North Marion hit Preston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaycee Frost (2), Rysa Besedich (2), Briella Sphon, and Greenlee Bolyard.

Meanwhile, Hampshire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Berkeley Springs. That's two games in a row now that Hampshire have lost by exactly two goals.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for North Marion, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

North Marion suffered a grim 6-3 defeat to Hampshire in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
