Football Recap: Delta Falls to Juab in First Game of Season

Delta had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Juab Wasps. The loss continues a trend for the Rabbits in their meetings with the Wasps: they've now lost seven in a row.

Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Drake Quackenbush and Jett Rawlinson. Another thorn in Juab's side was Carter Anderson, who made 13 total tackles.

Price Armstrong looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 230 yards and three TDs. What's more, he racked up 79.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta will venture away from home to take on Millard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Juab, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Payson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 913 yards in their previous games.
