Volleyball Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

After flying high against Denison-Schleswig on Thursday, Creston came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Clarinda Cardinals on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost six in a row.

Creston's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Clarinda, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Creston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 20th. As for Clarinda, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Tri-Center on the 20th.
