Soccer Recap: Eastwood Takes a Loss

Eastwood lost against Socorro back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Socorro Bulldogs who were credited with the win. The Troopers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gael Zavala and Alejandro Herrera-Corral scored both of Eastwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Eastwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Socorro, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Coincidentally, Eastwood and Socorro will both be playing Eastlake the next time they take the pitch. Eastwood will head out to face Eastlake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Socorro will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
