Basketball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-34 loss at the hands of the Parkersburg South Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 572nd in Ohio, while the Patriots are ranked 45th in West Virginia).

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Parkersburg South, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge has already played their next contest (against Claymont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Parkersburg South has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Wayne.
