Greenfield waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Simon Quinn made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Quinn wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mack Wiggins, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Greenfield's record now sits at 9-2. As for Wilson Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield will challenge Arendell Parrott Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge New Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
