Volleyball Recap: Ooltewah Comes Up Short

The Ooltewah Owls came up short against the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers on Thursday and fell 2-0.

While Ooltewah ultimately came up short, they really made Boyd-Buchanan work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25.

Ooltewah has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Ooltewah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Franklin Christian Academy on the 19th. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they will face off against Baylor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
