Volleyball Recap: Pace Triumphs

Pace lost to Cigarroa back in August of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Vikings came out on top against the Toros by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Emma Trevi?o paced Pace's offense, picking up seven kills. Trevi?o got some help from Risa Trevi?o and her 19 assists. Melody Valerio and Andrea Salgado kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Pace now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cigarroa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Pace and Cigarroa will both be playing Harvest Christian the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face Harvest Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Toros will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
