Baseball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point managed to slip by Caledonia the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. West Point lost 11-1 to Caledonia on Saturday. The Green Wave just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

West Point saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reco Collins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Caledonia, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will challenge Clarksdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caledonia, they will square off against Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
