Basketball Recap: Mountain Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mountain Grove waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 52-32 margin over the Ava Bears. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Bears back in December of 2024, they had to take a 47-40 defeat.

Mountain Grove now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Ava, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Grove will take on Cabool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Bears coming up.
