Clarksville Academy is 9-1 against Davidson Academy since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Clarksville Academy Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Davidson Academy Bears at 6:00 p.m. Clarksville Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Clarksville Academy ended up a good deal behind Goodpasture Christian and lost 60-45. Clarksville Academy hasn't had much luck with Goodpasture Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Anna Hellums, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 11 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayda Madison, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Davidson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 63-34 loss at the hands of Ezell-Harding Christian. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Eagles are ranked 37th).

Clarksville Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Davidson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Clarksville Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Davidson Academy in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarksville Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
