Softball Game Preview: Antelope Valley Antelopes vs. Littlerock Lobos

Antelope Valley is 2-8 against Littlerock since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Antelopes will venture away from home to square off against the Lobos at 3:15 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Antelope Valley is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They fell 5-0 to Eastside.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Littlerock's offense. They lost 10-0 to Quartz Hill on Friday. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Littlerock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Antelope Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Antelope Valley might still be hurting after the 15-1 defeat they got from Littlerock when the teams last played back in March. Can the Antelopes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
