It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodland Christian had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 88-43 win over the Mariposa County Grizzlies. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won 15 matches in a row.

Woodland Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Romello Bruhn led the charge by going 13-for-24 on his way to 36 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Bruhn's 56th in a row with at least 16 points. Tanner Thomas was another key player, going 10-for-16 en route to 26 points along with six boards and three steals.

Woodland Christian pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.3 points. As for Mariposa County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-15.
