Diboll has gone 6-0 against New Waverly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Diboll Lumberjacks will challenge the New Waverly Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.

Diboll is leaving town to face New Waverly after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Diboll fell 3-1 to New Summerfield on Monday. The Lumberjacks haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, New Waverly was forced to settle for a draw. They and Crockett finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.

Diboll beat New Waverly by a goal when the teams last played back in February of 2022, winning 2-1. Will Diboll repeat their success, or does New Waverly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
