Buchholz is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Bartram Trail Bears at 6:30 p.m. Buchholz is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Buchholz earned a 4-1 victory over Interlachen. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

Jurnee Reed spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

On the hitting side, Quaniyah Robinson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Parker, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Bartram Trail ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over Bishop Snyder.

Bartram Trail now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Buchholz, their record is now 9-4.
