Lafayette entered their tilt with St. Francis Borgia on Thursday with nine consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lafayette easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11.

Lafayette's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubrey Dumstorff, who had seven digs and one assist. Addy Wiese was another key player, getting eight digs and one assist.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for St. Francis Borgia, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Lafayette and St. Francis Borgia will both be playing St. Joseph's Academy the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Angels at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
