After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Zumwalt West, Winfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Holt Indians onto the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Emma Dixon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she also racked up no strikeouts, the mostshe's had since back in October of 2023. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.

In other pitching news, Maci Knowles looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts every time she's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Claire Shoemake, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyia Sullivan, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
