Football Recap: Citrus Hill Has No Trouble Against Miller

The Citrus Hill Hawks made easy work of the Miller Rebels on Thursday and carried off a 26-6 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-0.

John Guitron threw for 266 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Kalen Stephens was his top target, picking up 151 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. On the ground, Demerius Norman rushed for 64 yards and one score.

Citrus Hill's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Citrus Hill will welcome Desert Hot Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miller, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Corona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
