Volleyball Recap: Richfield Takes a Loss

Richfield and Ogden squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Richfield had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Jerzy Moon paced Richfield's offense, picking up 19 kills. Moon got some help from Adrie Seely and her 28 assists. Seely was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Richfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-19 record this season. As for Ogden, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ogden, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Union on the 28th.
