Football Recap: Fair Lawn Has No Trouble Against NV - Demarest

After losing to NV - Demarest the last time they met, Fair Lawn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cutters strolled past the Norsemen with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-35.

Fair Lawn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.3 points over those games. As for NV - Demarest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Fair Lawn will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bergen Tech. The Cutters will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for NV - Demarest, they will take on Fort Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
