Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Chapel Hill was the 3-0 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another on October 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Chapel Hill had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 14-25, 25-20.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 13-22.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chapel Hill will face off against rival New Diana at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Harmony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
