Payne Tech is a perfect 3-0 against Newark Tech since May of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will look to defend their home court against the Terries at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Payne Tech has ten straight wins, Newark Tech has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Payne Tech is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: Bergen Catholic, who was ranked 15th at the time (Payne Tech was ranked third). The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Crusaders on Friday.

Meanwhile, Newark Tech came up short against Tech on Friday and fell 2-0.

Payne Tech's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Newark Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
