Softball Recap: Jefferson Wins Going Away Against LEE

On Saturday, everything went the Jefferson Mustangs's way against the LEE Volunteers as the Jefferson Mustangs made off with a 10-4 win.

Danielle Calvario and Mia Torres did most of the damage at the plate: Calvario went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run, while Torres scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. What's more, Torres also racked up three hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Leia Galindo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing one base while going 1-for-1.

The victory got Jefferson back to even at 1-1.

Jefferson will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tivy at 12:30 p.m. on February 20th. LEE has already played their next contest (against Taft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
