Preview: Glenville-Emmons Wolverines vs. Alden-Conger Knights
Glenville-Emmons is 2-7 against Alden-Conger since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Glenville-Emmons Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Alden-Conger Knights at 3:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Thursday, Glenville-Emmons took a serious blow against Kingsland, falling 76-38.
Meanwhile, Alden-Conger was beaten by St. Clair 74-43 on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alden-Conger has scored all season.
Glenville-Emmons' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Alden-Conger, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Glenville-Emmons suffered a grim 75-51 defeat to Alden-Conger in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Glenville-Emmons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
