Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sayre). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fargo/Gage Bearcats a 15-0 shutout on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Sayre's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-6. As for Fargo/Gage, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sayre will face off against Sentinel at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fargo/Gage, they will square off against Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
