It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Borden had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the West Washington Senators. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Senators  on October 2nd, they had to take a  3-0  loss.
Borden can attribute much of their success to  Eva Eversmann, who  had 14  digs and two  aces.
 Eversmann wasn't the only good servers: Borden  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in nine consecutive  contests.
Borden is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record  this season. As for West Washington, they now  have a losing record of 9-10.
 Borden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-1  defeat against Christian Academy on the 18th. West Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
