On Saturday, the San Benito Greyhounds rang in the new year with a 55-47 victory over the Valley View Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

San Benito has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Valley View, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
