Volleyball Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ledford on Tuesday, Central Davidson came back down to earth. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randleman Tigers on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-27, 25-14, 25-22.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Randleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Central Davidson nor Randleman have any future games scheduled.
