Basketball Recap: East Laurens Beats Washington County for Their Eighth Straight Victory

East Laurens came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Washington County Golden Hawks by a score of 56-49. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 58-34 defeat the last time these two teams met.

East Laurens' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mckayela Tanner, who posted 21 points and six steals. The match was Tanner's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jayla Givens was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
