Recap: Rolla HomeSchool vs. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks
If Rolla HomeSchool were feeling good off their 36-14 takedown of Crosspoint Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rolla HomeSchool was outmatched by Mid-Missouri HomeSchool on the road and fell 51-9. While losing is never fun, Rolla HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Mid-Missouri HomeSchool is ranked 185th).
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool found their leader in underclassman Cambelle Knight , who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Alia Robinson, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Rolla HomeSchool now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lighthouse Prep Academy the next time they take the court. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool will head out to face Lighthouse Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024, while Rolla HomeSchool will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 15, 2024.
