Football Game Preview: Thomas Stone Cougars vs. North Point Eagles + How To Watch

Thomas Stone hasn't had much luck against North Point recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Thomas Stone after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They had to suffer through a 47-7 loss at the hands of Westlake. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Wolverines are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, North Point put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lackey 49-12. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

North Point's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Thomas Stone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Thomas Stone was dealt a bruising 41-8 loss at the hands of North Point in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
