Volleyball Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tuscola lost against Clinton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maroons.

While Tuscola was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Lilly Kurtz paced Tuscola's offense, picking up nine kills. Kurtz got some help from Sicily Moss and her 17 assists. Kurtz was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Tuscola has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Clinton, their victory ended a nine-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-16.

Coming up, Tuscola will take on Urbana at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clinton, they will square off against Tremont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
