Basketball Recap: City of Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If City of Life Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 65-38 takedown of Elite Prep Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The City of Life Christian Academy Warriors fell 72-64 to the Eagle's View Warriors on Friday.

Eagle's View was led to victory by JAYCEN LOWERY and JUSTIS CLEMENTS. LOWERY went 10 for 15 on his way to 23 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while CLEMENTS almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. CLEMENTS's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was CORI LAVOILE, who posted ten points and five steals.

City of Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Eagle's View, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

City of Life Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-56 win against Indian Rocks Christian on the 18th. Eagle's View has also already played their next game, a 69-34 defeat against Life Christian Academy on the 18th.
