The Putnam County War Eagles pushed their score all the way to 88 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 97-88 hit to the loss column at the hands of Veterans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (60), Putnam County still had to take the loss.

Chandler Thomas was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds for Veterans. The match was Thomas' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio ??tone?? scott, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Putnam County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Veterans, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam County will take on Westside at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Veterans and Warner Robins will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Warner Robins has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matchups.
