Basketball Recap: Kuna's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Kuna won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Kuna Kavemen enjoyed a cozy 55-37 win over the Meridian Warriors. Given the Kavemen's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Warriors are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kuna's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Meridian, their loss was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

Kuna has already played their next game (against Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Meridian will head out on the road to challenge Boise at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boise will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Meridian surely won't give up without a fight.
