While White Swan's win against Highland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Scots 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for White Swan and bumps their season record up to 5-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, White Swan will square off against Tri-Cities Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
