Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask College Park). They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Alhambra Bulldogs on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Nathan Glieden looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Jack Carpenter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Connor Berkowitz was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
College Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
